India is currently going through an unimaginably horrific second wave. Safety Nest has done our research on volunteer organizations and it currently appears OxygenforIndia.org is one of the better on the ground volunteer organizations in India.
They are working on the "last mile" oxygen delivery issue with volunteers located directly in hospitals, where their triage process ensures medical oxygen goes directly to the patients and not to hoarders.
Please consider donating because right now, COVID-19 patients in India are dying not from the disease but from a lack of available treatment. Medical grade oxygen may help in prolonging a patient's life as their body works to fight off the virus.
